Stubbornly selfish 

Desperately self-centered

Living the life of a sinner

Then something changed,

A believer became

Even though I was just a beginner

Fearful of the unknown

Disconnected and so alone

But I’m no longer blind

I won’t be left behind

When Jesus comes to take us home
