v1.

My daughter called me up this week

Asking for advice.

Told her when you’re making memories

Don’t worry about the price.

You only get so many shots,

And you’ll remember all the ways

The times you made your days count

And stopped just counting days.

Chorus:

Live your life.

Make the memory.

Take the trip

Life’s what we do and see.

If you’re lucky

you might get a century

To make those moments

that fill your treasury

You want an obituary? Or a documentary?

Make the Memory.

V2.

As an older man there are days

I look back with regret.

Left some moments on the table

When I should’ve placed the bet

The things that I didn’t do

Leave my memory bank in debt.

Pass that wisdom to my children

Trying to change their mindset

Chorus:

Live your Life.

Make the memory.

Take the trip.

Life’s what we do and see.

If you’re lucky

You might get a century

To make those moments

that fill your treasury

You want an obituary? Or a documentary?

Make the Memory
